Steve became one of Nina's targets whilst she was working for The Syndicate, and, on finding out he was her son, she hesitated to shoot him. The most noticeable caveat to this general attitude concerns Steve Fox, the child who was created for the Mishima Zaibatsu Supersoldier Program from Nina's eggs whilst she was in cryosleep. Despite Anna sometimes extending an olive branch, Nina has shown no interest in setting aside their differences, preferring to beat, humiliate, or simply ignore Anna. Nina has a malicious side to her and seems to enjoy humiliating her younger sister Anna, with whom she has a long-term rivalry. Despite being the aggressors in a devastating global war, she also continued to also work for the Mishima Zaibatsu throughout Tekken 6 and Tekken 7, before taking up freelance assassination work once more after Heihachi's death. On losing her memories, she made a living working for approximately six years for the notorious criminal network known only as The Syndicate. Nina has little qualms about morality and has predominantly worked all her life as an assassin-for-hire. This may however be reflective of Nina's single-minded dedication to her work, as she was also dedicated to Heihachi Mishima after he bested her and took over as Mishima Zaibatsu CEO in Tekken 7. She was also genuinely devoted in her role as a bodyguard to Jin Kazama in Tekken 6, seeming to respect him and his choices despite their war-mongering nature. The exception to this is her father, Richard Williams, whom she seems to have respected and from whom she learned the assassin's trade. Regardless, Nina exhibits little care for or trust in others. This could indicate that Nina's distant personality is partially artificial in nature. All of these experiments affected her mind and caused emotions to be repressed, or memories and agency to be lost. She has been the subject of numerous experiments, first when she was young, second when she failed to assassinate Kazuya Mishima and was forced to undergo cryosleep, and third when she awoke and was temporarily controlled by Ogre. Nina is cold and indifferent, and ruthlessly efficient in her work. Nina and her younger sister are from a family of assassins, and both hail from the Republic of Ireland. Nina also starred in her own game, Death by Degrees, an action-adventure title released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. While in Cryogenic sleep, her ovum was taken without her consent and was used to create Steve Fox (who first appears in Tekken 4 and onwards). They are experimented upon for 15 years (this is the reason why they both remain physically young throughout the tournaments). Nina's win poses range from tomboyish and masculine to flirtatious, usually by placing a foot on top of the opponents body or showing off her body figure. Nina's personality remains monotonous yet sadistic when it comes to teasing Anna. Thus, she was unable to feel any emotion. Ironically, after her father's death, Nina was controlled by Ogre. The only man she had ever trusted was her father, who died shortly before Tekken 2. Her bitterness towards men could be a result of her defilation after Tekken 2. In fact, she had been drugged by an underground force when she was young in order to create the perfect assassin, regarding the chronology of Death by Degrees.
Nina's persona seems to be cold and indifferent. Nina almost always wears lipstick, from violet (DbD) to red (T1, T2,Tbv) to bronze (T3) to peach (TTT, T4, T5, T6).

Her trademark costume is the "catsuit," as she has worn many different designs of catsuit in both Tekken and Death By Degrees, which are made of materials resembling spandex, PVC and leather. Nina's signature color is purple, as she has at least one purple outfit per game. Her look contrasts from that of her sister, Anna, who is a brunette. Nina is notable for her long blonde hair and crystal-blue eyes.
